Paul Goodenough is the recipient of the 2016 Phoebe Griswold Grant for instituting the Stroger Family Trauma Bereavement Group which focuses on violence prevention and trauma intervention, so that families can cope, and communities can heal in meaningful ways.

The program addresses the needs of the mothers who receive education and encouragement about coping with trauma and in turn, provides support to a whole family. When the mothers meet, they create a common bond and have a greater sense of solidarity and empowerment. THANK YOU, EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN!
