Sharing her insights into spiritual resiliency and contemplation, The Rev. Lisa Senuta recently helped a group of care-givers develop some tools for strength in the face of caring for loved ones. A diverse class of lay chaplain training alums, professional chaplains, clergy and friends of BAH gathered in our cozy living room for 4 hours of peace and meditation.
Lisa created a space for participants to step away from caregiving for self-care and silence. Taking the time to reconnect with nature and take time for self was a powerful theme of the day. The workshop was an ideal way to honor the theme of Spiritual Care Week, Spiritual Resilience.
