The End is Where We Begin is a short presentation to help you understand the importance and the relevance of advance directives.  You will gain clarity about the different advance directives that apply to you, no matter your age.  Just as important, you will also gain tools for having crucial conversations about your healthcare values with those who might care for you, if you ever were not able to communicate with them.
Chaplain Fellow Paul Goodenough created this presentation, inspired by his experience working in critical care.  Too often, he saw families struggling to make decisions for a loved one who hadn’t shared their wishes.  This informative and engaging workshop makes clear that communicating your end-of-life wishes in advance can be a true gift to your family, friends, and caregivers.  It can also provide valuable peace of mind for yourself.
We are pleased to offer ‘The End is Where We Begin” to community groups and congregations at no charge. To schedule a presentation by Chaplain Paul, contact him at pgoodenough@bishopandersonhouse.org.
